Research interests
In the current landscape, anthropogenic impact, along with climate change, is exerting considerable pressure on marine biodiversity. My research interest lies in studying anthropogenic agents and the impacts they have on marine habitats and the species that inhabit them, aimed at the conservation and more sustainable management of these resources.
My academic background, with the master’s degree in Marine Biology and in Protected Areas, Natural Resources, and Biodiversity, has allowed me to explore the dynamics of natural ecosystems and study their interactions with modern environmental pressures. Parallel to my academic journey, I have gained substantial experience as a scuba diver, which has provided me with the skills necessary to support underwater sampling and surveys, directly contributing to my understanding of marine biodiversity.
