Research Interests
My work focuses on science communication and public engagement in marine biology, ecology, and environmental sustainability. The aim is to make scientific knowledge understandable and accessible to a broad and diverse audience and to promote an effective dialogue between society and the scientific community.
In an age of information overload that is often distorted or misinterpreted, the collaboration between researchers and science communicators is crucial to provide citizens with accurate and understandable content to promote awareness and active engagement in environmental protection.
I am particularly passionate about visual communication. Using images, illustrations and digital graphics facilitates the understanding of complex concepts and makes information more engaging, captivating, and effective. Visual tools can spark curiosity and interest, encouraging further investigation and discussion on important topics such as environmental sustainability and marine conservation.
