Short bio

I’m graduate in marine ecology the main focus of my research and working experience concern the study of fisheries activities developed through a sustainable approach. I gained particular experience in field with scientific fishing campaign in order to evaluate fishing effort, bycatch composition and marine litter characterization. Other skills concern different sampling techniques common in use in marine biology such as Niskin bottle, multiparametric probe, Van Veen grab sampler and other tools for sampling phytoplankton and zooplankton. In laboratory, I got more experience for estimation of metabolic rates such as oxygen consumption and production. I also collaborate with the Technology Transfer Office (Grant and Innovation Office) in order to strengthen the communication network between research and business. In particular, I was involved in scouting activities, exploit research results in order to encourage their transfer to the business system.
