Research Interests
My research activity starts from the taxonomic identification of mesozooplantonic organisms, in particular of copepods, to the spatial and temporal evaluation of zooplankton communities (also with cooperation with other experts, for example, of phytoplankton) also with molecular approaches. I study also the secondary production of copepod target species, egg production, hatching success and larval recruitment.
I have participated in various campaigns for the collection of zooplankton samples including those for the FEAMP project (European Maritime and Fisheries Fund).
