Research Interests
Marine fish and cephalopod taxonomy, biology and ecology. Studies on mesopelagic and bathypelagic fish and on large pelagic fish. Trophic ecology in fish. Age and growth estimation in fish. Sustainable use of fishing resources, fishery management, studies on artisanal fisheries. Coastal zone management. Impact of marine litter and transfer of contaminants in the marine trophic web. Studies of biodiversity in marine habitats through ROV. Physiological effects of a decrease in pH on fish in naturally acidified environments.
