Interessi di Ricerca

I am a graduate of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in MSc in Marine Environment and Resources (EMJMD). My research interest centers on the fate, transfer, and effects of emerging environmental contaminants and other stress factors, as well as the physiological and behavioral responses and adaptations of aquatic organisms. I have recently worked on understanding the transfer of different-size microplastics and their fate in organisms of different marine environmental compartments under Dr. Manuel Soto Lopez and Dr. Nerea Garcia Velasco at the Plentzia Marine Station (PiE). Currently, I am working on the resilience of Mytilus galloprovincialis to microplastic pollution and its link with genetic variability under Dr. Annamaria Locascio at the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn.
